anahat.jpgI really thought that the cutie patootie needed a hat to match.  So this is what I came up with, using the same violet as the sweater.  I used the basic hat pattern for Ann Bud’s book of patterns.  And then I used the same crochet boarder as the sweater.

The Scarf is DONE

I finished the scarf.  DH loves it. 
Holding 2 strands together, I used 6 skeins of Regia Silk, on size 6 circular needles.  Here are the dimensions 6.5″ wide and 61″ long.

Finished Polkadot

I finished the polkadot sweater today. I think it turned out rather nicely. Can’t wait to see how it looks on my niece.

I like to move things around, for example I am always rearanging DD & DS’s rooms (even when they don’t know about it).  So I feel that I needed a change with my blog.  What do you think of the new look?

This is the finished Pinwheel dishcloth, the pattern is from patternsforputzes.  Then because I remembered how much I enjoy knitting dishcloths I started on a lacy round cloth you can find the pattern here.

And finally in this update, I am working on a pair of fingerless mittens for my niece.  She has a hard time with full mittens and likes these better.  Here is the first one,  I have to finish the thumb on this one.  Since this is the very first pair of mittens, I am using Caron Simply Soft on size 8 needles and instead of DPN’s I am using 2 circ’s.  I learned how to use 2 circ’s for socks and have found that I much perfer them to DPN’s in any application.

 I finished the Potholder KAL on Friday …. here is my ph-font.jpgHonu (Seaturlte) Potholder. For some reason my edges did not turn out as nicely as Crys’s did, but I can live with that!  🙂 … I think I am going ph-back.jpgto make more of these to give to the kids teachers as end of the year gifts … So that means I have 4 more to make by the beginning of June … 😉

I used 4.5 skeins of Plymouth Jelly Beenz on size 8 neeldes.  Here is a close up of the bottom.dsc00935.JPG Sorry about the blurry pictures the cameria is acting up. I have some extra yarn from the jumper so I am going to make a little scarf to match.

 Also I finally finished the Dec Dishcloth … I will add a picture of the dishcloth soon.
