You Communicate With Your Ears

You love conversations, both as a listener and a talker. What people say is important to you, and you’re often most affected by words, not actions.
You love to hear complements from others. And when you’re upset, you often talk to yourself.

Music is very important to you. It’s difficult to find you without your iPod.

ARGGGGG

pot-holder.jpgIn the Knitted Kitchens group that I am in we are doing a pot holder KAL (double knitting) … this mess is the start of that.  I am using SnC’s Faded Denim and Cream.  Our assignment was to cast on and knit rows 1-8, now you figure cast and knit 8 rows how hard can that be right … HAH …    Clearly a lot harder than I thought. So I will try again tonight.  One side will be the blue and the pattern in cream and the other side will be the opposite.  I have learned how to do a crochet cast on, easier than I thought.  If I could just knit continental it would be a LOT easier!!

new-sock-yarn.jpg

I had to go to the LYS today to pick up a gift certificate and a set of needles for a friends birthday present … and these 2 balls of sock yarn found their way home with me.  it is Regia Bamboo/Wool/Polyamid blend color number 1059, it does not give a name.  Now to find a pattern worthy …

Today I got a few packages out; I sent the shawl to my grandmother (she lives in FL, hopfully she will still be able to wear it) and the baby blanket to my friend (thankfully babies don’t out grow blankets too fast – he was born in DEC) … it about time!!myspace layouts, myspace codes, glitter graphics

myspace layouts, myspace codes, glitter graphicsAnd don’t  forget that Saturday is St. Patrick’s day … and every one is Irish on that day.
