last night (at 11pm) I finished the Garter Stitch Lace cloth, I made it a little small than the pattern it just seemed as though it was going to be way to big. Now that I am having closure on my laceaphobia, there are a lot of very cute things to knit …

I love the mail!!

lookie at what came in the mail today … 5 skeins of cotton fleece and 1 ball of chenille!! WOOO HOOO!! A very big THANK YOU to Mandy.

I can’t wait to use it … no to pick a pattern hmmmm not sure what to knit with it, I know I want to do a hat, but what pattern … I am going to have to think about this one for a bit.

Now for the chenille, any idea’s on this one … do you think it would be good for a hat for Caps for a Cure? I may just have to hold off on knitting this up for a bit until I have an idea … (could take a while LOL)

Waffle Hat

I finished another hat last night for
Caps for a Cure … it is the waffle hat, I used TLC Cotton Plus in the Thistle color.

I have not decided what hat I am going to do next … there are a few other things that I NEED to finish … I am getting close on the baby blanket, I have finished 11 of the 20 squares, and I ordered the final skein of yarn from joann.com the other day so we are heading in the right direction on that one. For anyone that may not have seen the blanket picture before this is the blanket I am doing for a friends 1st baby.

Odessa Finished

I finished my Odessa last night … although I think it is more of a mini Odessa than for an adult … not sure what happened, anyway here is a picture:

Started: 6/19/06
Finished: 6/24/06
Needles: Size 4 & 6 circs
Yarn: Sweetie Pie

The next odessa I will have to use a different yarn I think, although for my first Odessa not a bad job. Now to finish the waffle hat!!

Odessa Progress

here is the progress on the odessa … its getting there, I have about 3ish” to go before I get to the decrease …
I am hoping to get a lot of it finished tonight, because I still need to finish the baby blanket … the shower is not until mid august … but I am running out of time!!
and here is a picture of my furry kids … they are actually being nice to each other here … Ooo to sleep the day away!!

this is the very LITTLE progress that I have made on the odessa that the caps for a cure group is doing as a groups wide KAL … I should get a good bit done tonight as I have plenty of time to work on it.

Here is my mid June dishcloth from the Monthly Dishcloth Group, I was a little wierded out when we started this one because we had to cast 195 sts … I thought that was an awful lot of sts, but I had faith and went with it. I am happy with the way it turned out execpt for the center, I pulled as tight as I could and there are still holes in the center but all in all not a bad job.
