I used the mitten pattern from Anne Budd’s pattern book, but because of the yarn I knit all rows and shortened the thumb a bit and made the cuff part longer. And of course like the hat she is trying to take the mitten away before it’s finished …

Hat is Finished

I finished the hat this morning … here is dd modeling (face blured to protect the innocent). She has not taken off the hat since I finished it. Here is a close up of the hat.

I needed a different project … so I am making this hat, I am using Bernat Baby Bubbles in Bubble Gum. This is for the girl & I really think it will be a soft warm hat for winter. Also, the boy wants a hat for winter I have some brown yarn some where that will work out quite well for him.
